Lovely hosts and a wonderful view. The host and her family are simply lovely folks and we felt so welcome. This is a small, family run property and they could not have been nicer. So glad we made this choice. It was terribly humid but the room was a reprieve from the steamy walk to town. Wi-Fi was fine. I never tried the TV because being here was a nice respite from the US.

2 night stay This is a small place with three rooms. I had room 2 which was a decent size and had the necessary facilities...aircon, fan, fridge, tv. Everything thing works well. It is clean. The location is convenient and walkable to Savusavu town. The property is raised up from the road and there are steps up to access, which might make it difficult for someone reliant on a wheelchair. Their is a small kitchen preparation area. You will have to either prepare of go out for meals as there is no onsite restaurant although with notice i think the owner may try and assist.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 week stay in the spacious front room with verandah overlooking the bay. The bed is good, the room clean and the towels and sheets changed whenever requested. The outside common kitchen is basic but convenient. The hosts Jeremy and Ana are very friendly and obliging and Ana can provide a wonderful massage. The walk into town is only about a kilometre and the taxi service recommended by the hosts is very reliable and friendly. We highly recommend Gecko Lodge.

My husband, our two sons in their early twenties and I spent two night in this beautiful, clean, and conveniently located place. We were lucky to be first guests in the lodge which reopened after being closed for over two years. The owner was very helpful and friendly. He arranged for our transportation, helped us to plan which places to visit in the area, and introduced us to Ana, an amazing local guide who also offers heavenly massages. We stayed in a room with ocean view and we truly enjoyed watching ocean sunsets from our balcony. The spacious room had two queen beds and one twin bed, dining table and a little kitchen with a small fridge. It comes with its own big bathroom and air conditioning. There is a bigger communal kitchen on the property together with outside dining area. The whole property is beautifully maintained and our room was absolutely spotless.

Excellent place family friendly .. Very helpful staff that go out of their way to make your stay pleasant .. highly recommended .. The Manager came and picked us from the bus stand at 3am .. Great place to stay.. Philip lee

My wife and I stayed here while in savusavu for 3 days. Beautiful property, very clean! The host Ana and everyone on the property is very kind and extremely helpful and gracious! Ocean is right across the street if you want to snorkel, the town is maybe a 15 minute walk or a short taxi. Was only about $7 taxi ride from the airport
